Hometown 4th of July

Grab your family and head down to the Glen Rose Downtown Square on Wednesday, July 4th! The square will be hopping with the parade, hosted by the City of Glen Rose along with the Glen Rose/Somervell County Chamber of Commerce beginning at 9am! Along with the floats, the Chamber is also encouraging folks to come out and bring their furry friends in their patriotic finest to be a part of the parade. Don’t have a float, or a furry friend? Bring out your decorated bike, wagon, scooter, etc… and be a part of the action!

After the parade, be sure to stick around the square and enjoy some hometown fun! Take a photo in the selfie booth, get your face painted, and join in on some old fashioned family fun games! Games will be sponsored by local businesses and will be FREE and open to the public. Games will be wrapping up around noon. After the games, be sure to stop in and check out the shops around the square for some uniquely Glen Rose finds!

Out of county attendees are $8 per person, in county attendees $4 per person, and in county attendees age 65+ are free!
