    In addition to the property tax rate referenced in the link above, the City also collects 2% in local sales and use taxes per the following breakdown:

    1% Municipal

    1/2% Property Tax Relief

    1/2% Glen Rose Economic Development Corporation

    Also, the City collects a 7% Hotel Occupancy Tax which is used to fund the City’s Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
