The City of Glen Rose contracts with Republic Services for trash collection. To obtain service, please contact our Utility Billing Department. Poly carts are provided for all residential customers. Commercial customers may choose to have poly carts or dumpsters, depending upon the volume of trash that is generated. Dumpsters are to be located in enclosures. To prevent litter, all trash must be bagged before being deposited in poly carts or dumpsters. Residential customers should roll their carts out to the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the day collections are made to ensure they get picked up. Commercial collection can begin as early as 4:00 a.m. By end of the day the carts must be put away. Due to physical limitations, should you need help moving your poly cart, please contact our Utility Billing Department. If your trash is out by the appropriate time and doesn’t not get collected, please contact our Utility Billing Department, and we will ensure that your trash is collected. If the truck is still in town, we will send it back to your location on the same day; otherwise, you will have to wait until the next business day.
